Do You Expect Every Travel Day To Be Exciting?
It's always fun to recognize the first day of a new month. But when you are traveling a long road, and look back on the day, and realize that is about the most interesting thing that happened to you that day because it was a just driving day: A day that we just drove, ate, and put mileage on our truck's odometer. Now that doesn’t mean it was a boring day, far from it. It just means you need to get creative. On this day, we decided to make a video about things to do while you are driving on a long trip. We hit the road about 7:00 AM, but it was already 100 degrees F in Needles, California. We went to breakfast and hit the road as soon as possible. While heading east, we worked on our video for several hours.
We took a break in Ashfork, Arizona, for a fill-up, (gas and lunch). Fortunately, it was a lot cooler than Needles, so we weren’t worried anymore about Gizmo, or the truck, over-heating. We continued to push through, making it to Moriarty, New Mexico, for the night. We used the remainder of the drive to our night destination, to finish the video.
